Archbishop André-Joseph Léonard

 

Archbishop André Léonard was appointed Bishop of Namur in 1991. Nominated on 27 February 2010 as Archbishop of the Archdiocese of Mechelen-Brussels, he became the Primate of Belgium and became known as André-Joseph, St. Joseph being the patron saint of Begium. Archbishop Léonard retired to France in 2015. He became auxiliary chaplain at the Sanctuary of Notre Dame du Laus.

 

Monsignor Léonard will speak during the congress on the theme "Adoration by the friends of Jesus in the Gospel". He will preside at the Closing Holy Mass on July 24th.
